How can we help?

 Tuning the VFO

Type a frequency directly into the box and press Enter to tune immediately — you don’t need to click elsewhere first. When your step size is 8.33 kHz, the airband channel designator is shown alongside in brackets (e.g. a 124.000 MHz carrier shows as (124.005)).

Use the ▲/▼ buttons to step up or down — this snaps to your chosen step size grid rather than blindly adding a fixed amount, so if you’re off-grid it moves to the nearest grid point in that direction. Step options run from 0.05 kHz up to 1 MHz, including the true 8.33 kHz airband raster.

Lock Centre

This is easy to misread: Lock Centre locks the waterfall display’s centre point, not the tuned frequency itself. With it on, tuning or clicking moves the marker within the view while the display stays put; with it off, the view re-centres on wherever you tune or click.
