Native Digital Decoding

The Decode dropdown lets you run one of Squawker PC’s native digital decoders directly on whatever you’re tuned to: ACARS, AIS, POCSAG, RTTY, or DMR data— or None to just listen normally. Results appear in the separate Decodes tab as they come in, rather than as audio.

You don’t need to manually match your demod mode to the decoder — the right demodulation is applied automatically behind the scenes for whichever decode you pick. Selecting a decode is data-only: it silences normal audio on that VFO while it’s active, rather than playing alongside it — you’re watching decoded data, not listening and decoding at the same time. Switch the Decode dropdown back to None to get audio back.
