AR-DV10 Memory Channels & Banks

Summary: Saving and managing memory channels on the AR-DV10.

Layout

2,000 channels in 40 banks (00-39) of 50 channels (00-49), and 10 scan groups (0-9). A channel stores the frequency, mode, IF bandwidth, scan pass, protection, a name tag and optional squelch, AGC, offset and descrambler settings.

Saving a Frequency

1. Tune the frequency and set the mode and IF bandwidth. 2. Long press [ENT] for the registration page. BANK-CH is highlighted with the next free location (bank 00 channel 00 the first time). 3. If you don’t want a name, move to the last line MEM CH PARAM SET and press [ENT]. 4. To edit parameters, highlight one and press [ENT]: – BANK-CH: for example 0110 = bank 01 channel 10; FREQ, MODE, IFBW. – PASS: ON means scans skip the channel. – T: name tag (see AR-DV10 Data Editor & Entering Characters). – PROTECT: ON stops it being erased (page 2/2). – SQL N/L: LEVEL, NOISE or AUTO; SQL TYPE: CTCSS, DCS, reverse tone or OFF; CTCSS and DCS CODE (manual, SRCH or OFF); AGC: FAST, MID, SLOW or RF-G; OFFSET F.; V.SCR. 5. Save with line 9, MEM CH PARAM SET.

Browsing

[MENU] > MEM > [ENT] twice. Turn the dial to move through registered channels, or type a bank number and [ENT] to start at that bank’s lowest channel.

Editing a Channel

[MENU] > MEM > CH EDIT > [ENT] twice, enter the bank and channel and edit the same parameters, then save with MEM CH PARAM SET.

Bank Titles and Protection

[MENU] > MEM > BANK EDIT: set a bank title (T) and PROTECT (ON stops the bank being erased), then save.
