Reading Your Guide Online

Once your guide is on your account (automatically if bought from UKAFG, or after registration otherwise), you can read it online through the guide viewer — no download or app needed.

Access

You need to be logged in and hold an active membership for that guide’s edition year (e.g. a “UKAFG 2026” membership for the 2026 guide). If you’re logged in but don’t have the right membership, you’ll see a message linking to the shop; if you’re not logged in at all, you’ll be prompted to log in first.

Navigating the Guide

The viewer displays the guide as a book, with a toolbar for:

• First / Previous / Next / Last page buttons, plus a page counter.
• Go to section — a dropdown that jumps straight to a named section (e.g. Civil Airports A to Z, Military Callsigns, Common Scanner Frequencies, Abbreviations) without paging through manually.
• Zoom in / out.
• Single/double page toggle — switch between viewing one page or a two-page spread at a time.
• Fullscreen mode.

You can also click the edges of the page area to turn to the previous or next page, like a physical book.

About the Watermark

Pages are rendered securely as protected images, personally watermarked with your account details, rather than served as a downloadable PDF. This is a copy-protection measure — you get full read access to every page, but the guide can’t be freely downloaded, printed as a bulk file, or redistributed. If you’re expecting a PDF download, this is why you won’t find one — the intended way to use your guide is through this viewer.
