BCD436HP/536HP Menus, Data Naming, Display & Settings Options

Summary: Navigating the menus, naming things, and the Display Options and Settings menus on the BCD436HP and BCD536HP.

Navigating the Menus

Press Menu. Turn the scroll control (right is down, left is up); the current item is highlighted. Press E/yes or the scroll control to select, Menu to go back a level, and Avoid to leave all menus and return to the previous mode.

Data Naming

Name Favorites Lists, systems, sites, departments, channels, locations, custom searches, recording sessions, tone-outs and SAME groups with up to 64 characters. Turn the scroll control to choose a character, 6 (>) to move right, 4 (<) to move left, ./no to clear a character (twice to clear everything), and E/yes when finished. File and folder names (such as a system name, discovery name or recording session) accept letters, numbers, space, underscore, brackets and hyphen; name tags accept a wider set of punctuation.
