Selecting Rows in the Data Grid

Every row in the grid has a checkbox. Tick individual rows by clicking them, or use:

  • Select All — ticks every row currently visible under your active search/filters. It does not select the whole dataset regardless of filtering — only what’s on screen right now. For Aviation VHF/UHF, WTR, and Amateur Repeaters, Select All (and Select Group) are disabled until you’ve applied some filter first — a search term, a Range Search, or a class filter.
  • Deselect All — clears every current tick.

You can freely untick individual rows after using Select All — nothing about bulk-selecting locks you out of adjusting it row by row afterward.

What Survives a Filter Change

If you change your search or filters within the same dataset, your ticks are preserved for any row that’s still present in the new results. Switching to a different database, however, clears your current ticks — so tick and add-to-multi-select (see below) before switching datasets if you want to keep working with those rows.

The Status Line

A status readout above the grid tells you what’s currently selected:

  • “Rows Selected: N” — you have grid ticks that haven’t been added to Multi-Select yet.
  • “Rows in MultiSelect: N” — you have items committed to your Multi-Select list (see below).
  • “Select Data to enable Exports” — nothing is selected either way.

It only ever shows one of these at a time — once you commit ticks to Multi-Select, the grid-tick count resets and the label switches over.
