How can we help?

Auto Submit & Manual Submit

Squawker Connect can submit what you’re hearing to UKAFG’s live feed — this is also how you can earn temporary Live Mil access without a subscription (see Live Mil in the General Panel category).

Auto Submit

The Auto Submit checkbox is on by default. While it’s on, every successfully-matched military frequency you log is submitted automatically, no action needed from you. It only submits frequencies actually identified as military — either by matching known military-related keywords (RAF, MOD, tactical, ATC, and similar) in the matched description, or by falling within known military band ranges (118–144 MHz or 220–400 MHz). Anything else it logs is left alone.

Submitting a frequency in the 230–400 MHz military range successfully is what triggers the temporary Live Mil access grant.

Manual Submit

With Auto Submit switched off, a Submit button appears next to individual log rows — but only for frequencies in the ranges this feature covers (118–144 MHz or 220–400 MHz). Click it to submit that one frequency yourself, rather than everything being sent automatically.

How This Differs from the Submissions Window

Auto/Manual Submit here feeds UKAFG’s live Active Mil feed directly and specifically. The separate Submissions window (General Panel) is a different, general-purpose reporting form for new frequencies, corrections, and callsigns — the two aren’t connected, so using one doesn’t affect the other.

This all works the same regardless of which scanner type you’re using.
