Reading the Results Table – Squawker Online

Search results appear in a sortable, searchable table with columns for Airport, Service, Short Name, Frequency, Channel, National, Tag, and Miles (the Tag, National and Miles columns only appear when relevant to your search type). Tag is a short free-text label used to group related frequencies together, such as “Mach Loop” – it only appears when at least one result carries one, it is included when you export, and typing a tag into a General search will find those frequencies. Click any column header to sort by it, use the in-table quick filter box to narrow results further without re-running the search, and choose a page size — 25, 50, 100, or All — to control how many rows show at once.

The Results Summary

Above the table, a live summary describes your current search in plain language — for example “matching ‘X'”, “within 30 miles of SO40”, or “3 location(s) selected” — along with a live count of matching results. If a general search returns more results than the tool displays, you’ll see a truncation notice telling you so.

The Asterisk Convention

An asterisk (*) next to an entry in the Service column means that frequency is shared by multiple users — worth knowing before assuming a frequency belongs to one service alone.
