Building a List with Multi-Select

Multi-Select solves a specific problem: what if the frequencies you want aren’t all in one search, or one database? Instead of exporting each search separately, you can build up one combined list as you go.

How It Works

1. Search or filter as normal, tick the rows you want.
2. Click Add to Multi-Select. Those rows move into your running Multi-Select list, and your grid ticks clear (ready for your next search).
3. Switch databases, search again, tick more rows, and Add to Multi-Select again — they’re added to the same list, alongside what you added before.

For example: search Aviation VHF/UHF near your postcode and add a few airfield frequencies, then switch to Amateur Repeaters and add a couple of local repeaters, then switch to WTR and add a business licence you were after — all of it ends up in one combined Multi-Select list, ready to export or program together, regardless of which database each item came from.

A Couple of Things to Know

• Duplicates are handled automatically. If the same frequency/site combination ends up ticked twice — even from two different searches — it’s only added to the list once.
• The working list itself is session-only. It lives in memory while Squawker PC is open and isn’t saved automatically when you close the app — so export it, program it to your scanner, or explicitly save it (see Reviewing, Removing & Clearing Your Multi-Select List below) before you shut down if you want to keep it.
