What the AR-DV10 Is

The AR-DV10 is a compact handheld multi-mode SDR receiver covering 100 kHz to 1300 MHz (cellular frequencies are blocked on the US consumer version). It decodes many digital voice formats as well as all the usual analogue modes, and has a dedicated radio IC for AM broadcast (520-1710 kHz) and FM broadcast (64-108 MHz). It’s IPX5 water resistant provided the antenna, battery pack, belt clip and all rubber covers are firmly fitted. It measures 65 x 137 x 41 mm.

Modes

• Analogue: WFM, NFM, AM, USB, LSB and CW.
• Digital voice: D-STAR, Yaesu C4FM, DMR (Tier 1/Tier 2/MOTOTRBO), Digital CR and NXDN (6.25 kHz), dPMR446 (Tier 1), Alinco EJ-47U, APCO P25 Phase 1 and TETRA direct mode (mobile to mobile).
• Auto detection (AUT1): detects all of the digital modes except TETRA.

Main Features

• 2,000 memory channels in 40 banks of 50, 40 search banks, three VFOs and a priority channel; fast memory scan and program search.
• Step adjust, offset and priority reception; CTCSS, reverse tone, DCS and an analogue voice descrambler (not on the US consumer version).
• microSD card: audio recording, memory backup and restore as CSV files, and firmware updates.
• USB (mini-B) for command control from a PC. No AOR software is supplied.
• The supplied 7.4 V 2000 mAh Li-ion pack or six alkaline AA cells, an AC adapter, a fast-charger cradle and a car DC/DC converter.
