Editing, Sorting & Deleting Channels – UBC125XLT/C

Every field in the grid — Frequency, Name, Mode, Tone, Delay, and Lockout — can be typed or edited directly. Unlike some other supported radios, you can also freely add or delete rows in this editor.

Bulk-Setting a Column

Click the Mode or Delay column header to set that value across every populated channel in the current bank in one action, instead of editing each row individually.

Sorting by Frequency

Click the Freq column header to sort the current bank’s channels into frequency order. Be aware this doesn’t just change the display order — it renumbers the channels 1–50 within that bank to match, so channel positions genuinely change, not just how they’re listed.

Clearing

Clear Bank empties just the bank you’re currently viewing; Clear All Banks wipes everything across all 10 banks — use this one carefully, since there’s no confirmation prompt separating it from the risk it carries.

Channel Names

Names longer than 16 characters are automatically shortened when sent to the radio — the grid itself won’t stop you typing something longer, so keep this in mind if you want a name to display fully on the scanner.
