WTR Browser – Licensed Radio Sites

Summary: Browsing Ofcom Wireless Telegraphy Register data for licensed radio transmitter sites.

The WTR Browser gives you access to Ofcom’s Wireless Telegraphy Register — the official record of licensed radio transmitter sites in the UK — directly on the map. Sites are grouped by mode, and you can search by company name, address, licence number or frequency; when a search matches several sites, Show all on map plots them all at once. The pins show on every base map, including Dark and Radar.

Click a site for a detail popup showing the licensing company and licence information associated with it. This is a reference tool for anyone wanting to identify what’s licensed to transmit from a given location.

In Squawker PC each company’s frequencies gain a Tune button and a Scan these button, which hands the whole list to the Fast Scanner as a scan list — see Tune, Track and Scan These.
