Filling a Bank – The Data Dropdown & the Overwrite Prompt
Summary: Using the Data dropdown and Program Bank to fill a bank from Squawker’s own database, and what happens if the bank you’ve chosen already has data.
The Data Dropdown & Program Bank
Choose a category from the Data dropdown, then click Program Bank to fill the currently selected bank with matching frequencies from Squawker’s database – the same mechanism as the UBC125XLT/C guide’s Filling a Bank article, working the same way here.
If the Bank Already Has Data
If the bank you’re filling already has channels in it, or the source data has more entries than fit in a single 100-channel bank, you’ll see a dialog offering choices worded specifically for this model’s 100-channel capacity – “Fill this bank (First 100)”, “Use first {n} only”, “Fill this and adjacent banks”, or “Spill into adjacent banks” – rather than assuming the UBC125XLT/C’s 50-channel wording.
Clear Bank
Clear Bank empties the currently selected bank’s 100 channels, ready to fill again from a different source or by hand.
