Log History – All Entries, Unique Frequencies & Managing Your Log

Everything Squawker Connect has heard builds up in the Log History list on the right — this works identically for every scanner type.

All Entries vs. Unique Frequencies

Tick Unique Frequencies to collapse the list down to one row per frequency — specifically, the most recent hit for each one, not the first time it was heard or a count of how many times. Untick it to see every individual logged hit.

Editing an Entry

You can type directly into the User column to correct or rename an entry. When you do, you’re asked exactly how far the change should apply: Yes — rename it everywhere this frequency appears in your log, past and future; No — this one entry only; Cancel — don’t rename anything. For one-off notes rather than a genuine correction, see Adding Notes to a Frequency instead. If you want to undo your corrections, Clear Edits resets everything back to the original values (with a confirmation prompt).

Removing Entries

  • Delete Selected removes just the row(s) you’ve highlighted (with a confirmation prompt if you’ve selected more than one). ctrl click and shift-click can be used to select multiple rows
  • Clear Log wipes the entire log — this happens immediately with no confirmation prompt, so double-check you mean to clear everything before clicking it. It clears both the on-screen list and the saved log file on disk.
