HF Aviation Frequencies

The HF Aero page is a worldwide reference table of HF (High Frequency) aeronautical radio frequencies — the long-range frequencies used for oceanic and remote-area air traffic communication, where VHF coverage doesn’t reach. It’s a large table (currently 1,800+ entries), covering airports and regions across the globe.

Columns

  • Airport — the airport or station the frequency is associated with.
  • Service — the service type, e.g. an MWARA (Major World Air Route Area) network designation.
  • Name — the full station/service name.
  • Freq — the frequency in kHz.
  • Mode — the transmission mode (e.g. USB).
  • Civil — marked where the frequency is civil-use.
  • Area — the world region (Africa, Atlantic, Pacific, etc.).
  • Country — the associated country.

Using the Table

  • Search box — filter across all columns at once.
  • Sortable columns — click any header to sort; the table sorts by Airport by default.
  • Show entries — control how many rows are shown per page.
  • Export — click Export for a dropdown with Copy to Clipboard, CSV, or Excel

Given the size of this table, the search box is the fastest way to find a specific airport, region, or country rather than paging through manually.
