Transmitter Sites

Summary: Viewing standalone radio transmitter sites and the frequencies/services broadcast from them.

The Transmitter Sites layer plots radio transmitter locations that aren’t tied to a specific airfield — useful for understanding coverage from a mast or remote site rather than an aerodrome. Click a site marker to open a popup listing every frequency and service broadcasting from that location.

This pairs well with the Line of Sight / Viewshed Tool (see the Radio & Amateur Tools category) if you want to check whether a given site is likely to be receivable from your location.
