Editing, Sorting & Deleting Channels

Summary: Working with the wider BCD160DN/BCD260DN channel grid, including the digital-reception columns the UBC125XLT/C doesn’t have.

Editing is entirely inline in the grid, the same as the UBC125XLT/C – click a cell and type, or pick from a dropdown where one’s provided. This model’s grid has considerably more columns, though, to support digital reception:

The Extra Columns

• Audio – Analogue, Digital, or All (search both).
• Tone – unlike the UBC125XLT/C’s free-text tone field, this is a dropdown of CTCSS/DCS codes – pick from the list rather than typing a frequency.
• T L/O – Tone Lockout, separate from the channel’s own lockout (L/O).
• Digital – Search, or a specific DMR Colour Code (CC0-CC15), NXDN RAN (RAN0-RAN63), or dPMR Area (Area 0/1).
• Slot – for DMR channels, which timeslot to receive: Any, 1, or 2.
• Digital Wait – how long (in milliseconds, 0-1000) the scanner waits on a digital channel before deciding nothing’s there.
• Pri – Priority.
• ATT – Attenuator.
• Rec – Record.
• A.Tone / A.Lvl – Alert Tone and Alert Level.
• Colour – the alert/LED indicator colour. This isn’t the DMR Colour Code – that lives in the Digital column above as “DMR CC<n>” – Colour here is purely about which colour the scanner’s LED flashes.
• LED – the LED’s blink pattern: On, Slow Blink, or Fast Blink.
• Vol – a per-channel volume offset.

Sorting & Deleting
