The Select Panel Toolbar – Filtering & Selecting Rows
The Select Panel toolbar sits directly above the data grid and has two parts: dataset-specific filters on top, and universal selection tools below.
Dataset-Specific Filters
These controls change depending on which dataset is selected. For Aviation VHF/UHF, you get:
- Exclude ATIS and Exclude Havequick checkboxes.
- A Bands dropdown (Civil & Mil / Civil / Military).
- Select Class…, which opens a picker to filter by radio class/user.
Other datasets show their own equivalent tools in the same spot — Active Mil has band and week-range options, Common Frequencies has a category picker, and WTR/Amateur Repeaters have mode/band pickers and a “WTR National” option. These will be covered in more depth alongside their respective datasets.
Selecting Rows
Below the filters, these controls always apply:
- Select All / Deselect All — ticks or clears every row currently visible (i.e. respecting your active filters/search).
- Select Group — with one or more rows ticked, selects every other row sharing the same User, so you can grab a whole site’s frequencies at once.
- Add to Multi-Select — moves your ticked rows into a running list that persists as you change datasets or searches, useful for building up a selection from multiple sources before exporting.
- Review Multi-Select — opens a window showing everything currently in that running list.
- Search — filters the grid live as you type, with a Clear button to reset it.
- A status line reports what’s currently selected — either a prompt when nothing’s ticked, or a live count of rows selected / rows in your Multi-Select list.
The Data Grid
The grid itself shows: a selection checkbox, User, Description, Short Name, Frequency (Transmit, for Amateur Repeaters), Channel (Receive, for Amateur Repeaters), Mode, and Miles (distance, once a Range Search is applied).
