AR-DV3 Alarm, Timer, Sleep & Last-One Memory

Summary: The AR-DV3’s alarm, timer recording, sleep timer and last-one memory.

Alarm and Timer

Up to 3 settings, each SINGLE or WEEKLY. [F] then [3], choose ALARM/TIMER, press [ENT]:

  1. NUMBER 1-3, TYPE (ALARM or TIM.REC), REPEATS (SINGLE/WEEKLY).
  2. Page 2/3: START and END (MM-DD HH:MM; weekly uses times and days: choose a day with the dial and toggle with [PASS]).
  3. Page 3/3: SRC (source at power-on: VFO, VSR, SER, MEM, SCN or CYB for alarms; VFO, SER, MEM, SCN for timers, with bank/channel), ALARM VOL and SQL OPEN (set OFF if SRC is SER or SCN).

An alarm powers on at the start time and receives; it powers off at the end. Any key press cancels it. A timer powers on (30 seconds early) and records; [CLR] stops it. Icons show standby, running and recording states.

Sleep

[F] then [0]: 15, 30, 60, 90, 120 minutes or 00 (off). The remaining time shows and the unit turns off; turning it on again cancels sleep. An alarm/timer start cancels sleep.

Last-One Memory

The state is saved when you power off with the knob. Force a save with [F] plus a short press of [POWER] (“WRITING MEMORY”). It’s disabled if PROTECT in the configuration menu is ON.
