The guide excludes the frequencies used by the US cellular service (824-848.9875 and 869-893.9875 MHz). Nothing is listed between 54 and 108 MHz, 174 and 216 MHz, 512 and 764 MHz, or 960 and 1240 MHz.

Notes for UK Users

  • Airband (108-137 MHz) is covered with 8.33 kHz steps in AM, and the 225-380 MHz military air band is covered in AM.
  • The UK 174-216 MHz band (for example DAB) is not covered, and TETRA, which is in the 380-400 MHz range, isn’t a mode the scanner decodes.
  • The steps printed for 420-450 MHz (2.5 kHz) don’t line up with the 6.25 kHz raster used by some UK channels such as PMR446 (446.00625 MHz upwards). Enter one and check what the display shows before you rely on it.
  • The bandplan choice is USA or Canada only.
