How can we help?

 Standard vs Multi Scanning

  • Standard — the classic scanner behaviour: sweeps until it finds an active signal, stops (“parks”) on it, plays the audio, then resumes sweeping once the signal drops (or you skip/lock it out).
  • Multi — detects and logs every simultaneously active channel without stopping on any of them.

Multi Mode Has No Audio at All

This is worth being clear about: Multi mode doesn’t play audio, cycle between active channels, or mix them together — it simply never parks, so there’s nothing to listen to. If you want to actually hear a channel, switch to Standard. Multi is purely a detection/logging tool, useful for seeing everything that’s active across a band at once rather than listening to one thing at a time.

Multi mode can still log each detection to a file if Record is enabled, separate from Standard’s per-transmission WAV recording (see Squelch, Gain & Filters).
