The Squawker Connect Window – Layout Overview

Squawker Connect uses one layout for every scanner type — Uniden, Whistler, ICOM, Proscan, and SDR-based profiles all share the same window, with sections shown or hidden depending on what your radio supports rather than separate screens per model. The main Connect tab has:

• A connection-status line at the top, with radio control buttons on the right (Uniden only — see Radio Controls).
• A current-frequency display, with a number pad and any model-specific quick controls.
• Live Scan on the left — matches for the frequency currently being received.
• Log History on the right — everything logged so far.
• A Record button and audio-source picker for recording each logged transmission — see Recording Audio of Logged Transmissions.

The One Exception: Fast Scanner

If your profile uses Squawker Fast Scanner (the built-in SDR engine), you’ll additionally see a Fast Scanner tab, which the window switches to automatically — this hosts a completely different control set (its own band, device, and squelch controls) rather than fitting into the layout above.
