Active Mil Database – Search Options

Access

Unlike the other six datasets, Active Mil is subscription-gated at the dataset level — the radio button itself is greyed out unless you hold both an active Squawker PC subscription and the separate Live Mil add-on subscription. If you don’t have Live Mil, you simply won’t be able to select this dataset at all, rather than seeing it with limited options.

Don’t confuse this dataset with the separate Live Mil button in the General panel — that opens a real-time monitoring window, a different feature that happens to share the same subscription requirement. This article covers the Active Mil dataset (the static grid view); the Live Mil window will be covered separately.

Search Options

Once you have access, the toolbar shows:

• Bands — just two options: Civil & Military Bands (no filter) or Military Band, which for this dataset means 230–400 MHz — the same range as Aviation VHF/UHF’s Military filter. There’s no standalone “Civil only” option here.
• Weeks — restrict results to activity from the last 1, 2, or 4 weeks (4 weeks is the default). Changing this applies immediately. This is a flat feature with no further tiering once you have Active Mil access — everyone with access gets the full 1/2/4 week range.

Range Search isn’t available for this dataset — use the Weeks and Bands filters, plus the search box, to narrow results.
