Downloading, Installing & Updates

Squawker PC is a Windows desktop application, available with an active subscription from ukafg.co.uk/product/squawker-pc.

Installing

Run the downloaded installer and follow the prompts. A few things worth knowing:

• No separate .NET install needed — Squawker PC ships everything it needs bundled in, so you don’t need to install any .NET runtime separately first.
• No administrator rights required — the installer runs under your own user account and installs to your local user folder, not a system-wide location.
• 64-bit Windows required.
• If you use the in-app Maps feature, it relies on Microsoft Edge WebView2. This comes built into Windows 11 already; on Windows 10 it may install automatically the first time you open Maps if it isn’t already present.

Once installed, launch Squawker PC — you’ll be taken straight to the login screen (see Logging In to Squawker PC).

If you don’t have a subscription yet, the login screen has a Purchase button linking directly to the Squawker PC product page.
