How can we help?

Using the Bandplan Viewer

The Bandplan Viewer shows how the radio spectrum is allocated — band by band, with its usage, modes, and category — in one browsable, filterable table.

Filtering by Category

Tick one or more categories in the Filter by Category checklist to show only bands of that type; use Select all or Clear to quickly tick or clear every category at once. Click Hide to collapse the category list out of the way once you’ve made your selection, useful on smaller screens.

Finding a Specific Frequency

Enter a frequency in MHz into the Frequency search box and click Apply to show only the band(s) that frequency falls within (i.e. where it sits between that band’s Lower and Upper MHz values). Click Clear to remove the filter.

Filtering by Band Range

Use the Band range buttons to quickly jump to All Bands, HF (3–30 MHz), VHF (30–300 MHz), or UHF (300–3000 MHz). This filters by overlap with the selected range, so a band spanning across a boundary will still show if any part of it falls in range.

The Table

Results show Band Name, Lower MHz, Upper MHz, Modes, Bandwidth kHz, Notes, Category, and Region, sorted by frequency. Use the standard search box (with its own Clear search button) to search across all columns at once — this can be combined with the category, frequency, and band-range filters above.

All three filter types — category, frequency, and band range — work together, so you can, for example, show only “Aviation” category bands within the VHF range.
