Summary: Tracking professional weather balloons (radiosondes) and amateur high-altitude balloon flights.

Two separate layers track balloon flights, both sourced from SondeHub, with distinct icons so you can tell them apart:

• Met Sondes — live positions of professional radiosondes: the weather balloons launched by meteorological agencies to gather atmospheric data.
• Amateur High-Altitude Balloons (HAB) — flights launched by amateur and hobbyist groups, tracked the same way but shown as a separate layer.

Switch either layer on independently depending on which you’re interested in.
